Philadelphia's Chapter of the National Organization for Women Endorses Jim Kenney

Jim knows that full equality for women is a long-term battle, but he also knows that taking it on is the right thing to do.

It’s unacceptable that a woman in Philadelphia should earn less than her male counterparts—but in 2015, it’s still pervasive. He'll take steps to tackle pay inequality by giving the Commission on Human Relations the authority to investigate and punish cases of discrimination.

And his plan for fair funding for our schools, universal pre-K, and better wages aren’t just important to women—they’ll help all of Philadelphia move forward together.

That's why the Philadelphia chapter of NOW is throwing its support behind Jim's candidacy. Add your name to stand with Jim and say that now is the time to tackle the challenges facing women in our city.
